I was born and raised in Dayton, OH. Through my parents’ faithful commitment to the Lord and a faith community that taught the good news of Jesus Christ, I was introduced to the Lord at a young age. I made a commitment as a boy to follow Him, and by His grace I have not looked back! In 2006, I graduated from Cedarville University in Ohio with a Bachelor’s degree in music. During my time in college, my relationship with the Lord grew tremendously, and I knew that the Lord was stirring my heart toward full-time ministry. I met my wife Rebecca during my undergraduate studies. She is an amazing, vibrant woman of God. We have been happily married since 2007 and currently live in Rowlett, TX with our house of fully energetic boys - Malachi, Elias, Josiah, and Gideon.

I completed a masters degree in professional counseling from Liberty University in 2016.

I was also blessed to do some study at Dallas Theological Seminary as well. The Lord has given me a passion for helping people see who God is, who He has created us to be, and how those truths interact to bring life, freedom, and belonging. Before joining Eastside, I spent time in college ministry, focusing on discipleship. I also have had the privilege of serving as an associate pastor in another church context. I love how the rhythms of the church through corporate worship and fellowship/community remind us that Jesus is king and that He's coming back to make everything right!

My hope for Eastside is that we would be a people who increase in our faith in Jesus as we grow together in our understanding of the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge (Ephesians 3:17-19).
