I grew up in Southern California, and trusted in Jesus Christ as my Savior at a very young age. I was so blessed to have parents who sent me to Christian school where I grew in my faith, began understanding God’s Word, and found my identity in Christ.

I moved to Dallas to attend SMU, where I made amazing friends who showed me the joy of Christian community, and encouraged me to live my life faithfully following the Lord. My college ministry, Reformed University Fellowship, helped ignite a passion for learning about Scripture and theology and left me yearning for more. After undergrad, I got a masters in literature, and I decided to continue my tenure as a Texan and teach high school English at a public school in Plano for four years.

My love for teaching, for learning about God, and my desire to help others see the joy of knowing who God is and who they are led me to pursue my masters in Christian Education at Dallas Theological Seminary, where I am currently taking classes. Alongside my Eastside Resident duties, I am teaching humanities and Bible at Classical School of Dallas this year.

I pray that Eastside is a church that lives in light of the hope that He is making all things new! I pray that we are a church that is doing God’s Kingdom work of inviting others into the family of God, loving our neighbors, teaching His Word well, and glorifying the name of Jesus in all we do and say.
