Growing up in the Piney Woods of East Texas, I was raised in a Christ-centered home. By the grace of God in my Freshman year of college, I truly recognized my brokenness and deep need for Jesus. Since this distinct time in my life, the Lord has kindly grown my faith and knowledge of him through discipleship and fellow believers.

I received my degree in Mass Communication from East Texas Baptist University in 2019 and continued my education at Texas Tech University, where I earned a master's degree in the same field.

During my graduate studies in 2021, I had the privilege of merging ministry and creativity through a church internship. I cherished the opportunity to serve the church and convey the message of Jesus through various communication channels, and I have since been serving in a church communications capacity.

My hope for Eastside is that Christ's name is glorified always and His love would be apparent in everything we do and create.
