I grew up in the Dallas area and by the Lord’s grace I understood my need for a Savior at a young age. The Lord used my family, mentors and ministries like Pine Cove Christian Camps and Precept Ministries International to grow my faith and strengthen my understanding of God and His word.

After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2018 I started my career in the Real Estate Development industry and then later in the Banking industry. While in my banking job I simultaneously completed the residency program at Eastside serving predominantly with Women and Students.

After a year in my residency, the Lord called me to full-time ministry here at Eastside. I love teaching the Bible, wearing a cowboy hat, being called my first name, Betty, and contributing to Entrust the Word. 

My hope for Eastside is that we would delight more in God’s word than the things of this world, walk in the fear of the Lord, and reflect the character, heart, and mission of Jesus.
