I grew up in the Dallas area, surrounded by a Christian family and local church and came to know Christ at the age of 8. I professed that I was a sinner in need of a Savior and was baptized soon afterwards. The Holy Spirit began the lifelong work of sanctifying me and transforming me to look more like Jesus.

After graduating from Oklahoma State University, I taught kindergarten at West Dallas Community School while obtaining my Master’s degree at Southern Methodist University. The Lord was gracious and kind to give me a deep love for the West Dallas community and used my time there to grow my love for teaching the Gospel to children.

I met my husband, Ryan, in 2015 and we now have three young children: Maren, Jay and Callum. It is the greatest joy of my life to be his wife and their mom. 

The people of Eastside have transformed my faith and consistently pointed me to Christ. I am humbled in seeing the Lord’s hand in leading me here and am honored to have the opportunity to serve at the church I love.

My hope for Eastside is that we would be known by our love for God and love for each other and that our children, friends, and neighbors would come to love Him as well.
