I grew up in the DFW area and received faith as a young boy. My primary memory is the valuable time my dad spent reading the Bible with me and pointing me to his hope in Jesus. In 2013 I came to Dallas to attend my freshman year at SMU, where I encountered more mature Godly students who challenged me to grow in faith. One of those challenges was to be committed to a local church and for the next several years I attended The Village Church Northway. The Lord faithfully pursued me even as I struggled to trust his plans over my own. After graduating with a degree in Finance, I remained in Dallas to begin my career as a technology consultant.

In the years since the Lord has revealed to me how sweet it is to stay in one city. It's here the Lord has shown me ways to serve others and dwell in community with God's people. In October 2024 I will be marrying the most wonderful Ryann Hardwick who I met here at Eastside. 

My hope for Eastside is that we would be a people who are markedly different from the city around us. That our speech would be gracious, our hope set in Christ, and we can't help but bring up God's goodness in our conversations.
