Women’s Discipleship
Influence is Eastside’s women’s discipleship ministry. Influence provides intentional opportunities for women to be equipped and encouraged as disciples of Jesus. Our desire is to equip women to love one God, love all people, and make disciples everywhere using their God- given influence.

Women’s Discipleship Leadership Teams
The Eastside Women’s discipleship team believes in equipping and empowering women to use their God-given influence for the glory of God and the good of the church. Our Women’s Discipleship Leadership Teams provide structured opportunities for women to serve and lead by using their time, energy, and spiritual gifts for building up the body of Christ.
To serve on a Women’s Discipleship leadership team, women must be a current Covenant Member of Eastside Community Church, demonstrate Christian character in both word and deed (Philippians 1:27), and have a heart and desire to encourage and equip women through the use of their spiritual gifts (1 Peter 4:8-11).
Each 2025-2026 Leadership Team is a 1 year commitment (barring any unforeseen circumstances).

New Moms Gathering
Join moms in the same season of pregnancy or newborn life and connect with mentor moms at our monthly New Moms Gathering. These gatherings are geared for first-time moms to connect, seek refuge in the Lord, find refreshment alongside other moms in your same season, and be mentored by moms who have gone before you. Throughout the year we will learn to navigate your journey into motherhood through biblical teaching on marriage, spiritual disciplines, building family culture, and more!
If you are pregnant or in the adoption process with your first child, or have had your first child in the last year, we would love for you to be part of our monthly New Mom's Gathering.

One on One Discipleship Initiative
While discipleship isn’t a word you will find in Scripture, there is a clear call for those that follow Jesus to make disciples (Matthew 18:18-20), teach what is good (Titus 2:3), and share their life and the gospel with other believers (1 Thessalonians 2:8). At its core, discipleship is friendship. An edifying friendship between two believers, one with generally more experience and time following Jesus and one that is looking to learn from the other’s life and wisdom. This relationship consists of doing life together, talking about what is true about God, and urging one another to walk in obedience to His Word. The best discipleship relationships are built on honesty, humility, and transparency. There is no perfect format or formulaic approach, instead discipleship requires a commitment to know and be known and make space in one’s life to bring someone else along. Discipleship doesn't have to be formal to be formative. We will equip you with the tools you need to set clear expectations and keep your time intentionally centered on the Lord in order to build a meaningful discipleship relationship. Any believer, at any age, in any season is called and equipped for the work of letting someone follow you, as you follow Christ.
